Kansas City, MO – The Salvation Army is cracking some eggs for a good cause!

The 32nd annual Salvation Army Omelet Brunch will be held Saturday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the organization’s Westport Community Center, 500 W. 39th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

As in past years, YRC (Yellow Roadway Corporation) employees are donating their time to cook delicious made-to-order omelets. Also on the menu: danish, fruit, coffee and orange juice. Phil and Abby from Fox 4 will be “Celebrity Chefs” at 9 a.m. Carolyn Long, anchor at KCTV 5, will also be a celebrity chef at the Omelet Brunch from 10-11 am. Tickets are $8 per person and are available at the door.

The fundraiser, sponsored by The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, supports local Salvation Army programs and services, including homeless shelters, food pantries, emergency assistance and substance abuse programs.
